Greetings Tiger Families! The CMIT North Middle School PTO Executive Board welcomes you to our website and looks forward to engaging with you. As a PTO, our main goals are to:

• Grow the relationship between the PTO and CMIT Academy North Middle School teachers and staff;
• Promote trust through transparency between the PTO and all CMIT Academy North Middle School stakeholders;
• Establish both short-term and on-going fundraising efforts;
• Increase both parent and teacher involvement.

Why Join a PTO?

Decades of research have shown that when parents are involved in their children’s education, scholars are more likely to:

• Better relationships with Admin and teachers
• Attend school regularly
• Show improved behavior
• Be more positive in their attitude toward school
• Complete homework assignments
• Graduate and continue their education

By joining the CMIT North Middle School PTO, you will provide support, financial and otherwise, for programming, resources, and other opportunities to the CMIT Academy North Middle School community. PTO members vote on how we use our resources, what initiatives to focus on, and who should lead the organization.

In addition, you will receive support and resources, expand your network as you meet and interact with other parents and staff, and have the opportunity to put your knowledge and skills to use in support of your child and community.

Membership Dues: $15 per school year. The membership year runs from July 1 through June 30 of the current school year.
